Parent-Teacher Interviews January 28-29

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The second Parent / teacher conference is always an important opportunity to make connections with our families. That is still the case this year. However, due to pandemic protocols, the structure of these meetings will look a little different. Gilbert Paterson parents will have the opportunity to book interviews using the Division Interview Booking software. Parents must register using this link https://gp.lethsd.ab.ca/bookings . This time round, parents will have 2 options to choose from for their interview: videoconferencing meetings using TEAMS or phone interviews. Please see attached instruction booking sheet (click here to view).

Interview times are as follows:

• Thursday January 28^th       4:00-4:50PM and 5:40PM-8:00PM
• Friday January 29^th              8:20AM-12:20PM

You are able to book interviews when the system opens on FRIDAY January 15th at 8AM. Please note that interview requests will close on SUNDAY January 24th at 10 PM. If you are unable to make the interview times or do not wish to attend, we are not able to facilitate face to face meetings outside of these scheduled times. We ask that you contact your child’s teacher via email for an update.

The English program core teachers will videoconference together with you as a dyad pair:

8A/B – Mrs Janzen, Mr. Layton                      8C/D – Mrs. Greve, Mrs. Maaren       8E/F – Mr. Dekens, Mr. Chorm

8K – Mrs. Lacourciere                                       Lifeskills – Ms. Ryan

Please note that you may be unable to videoconference with all of your child’s French immersion teachers as they have multiple teaching assignments. FRIM teacher meetings will be as follows:

6I/J – M. Proulx, Mlle. Latilo                      6K – Mme Bryden

7I/J/K – Mme Thompson, M. Muise

8I/J – M. Legal, M. Bexson, M. Leavitt 

*You may book appointments with Phys Ed teachers as required. Please note that some option and PE teachers are also part of core groups and may not be available for specific interviews.
